How It Works

eSIM in Three Steps

An eSIM is a digital SIM built into your phone. You download a carrier profile by scanning a QR code — the whole process takes about 10 minutes, and you can do it before you even leave home.

1

Buy online

Purchase a plan, receive QR code by email. Takes 2 minutes.

2

Scan & install

Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Scan QR code. Profile installs in 5–10 minutes.

3

Travel connected

Enable data roaming for your eSIM. You're connected across 30+ countries.

Common Questions

Does my phone support eSIM?

Go to Settings → Cellular. If you see "Add eSIM", you're compatible. Most iPhones from XS (2018) and Android flagships from 2019 support eSIM. Check our device guide.

Can I keep my home number while using eSIM data?

Yes — dual SIM lets you keep your home number on the physical SIM while using eSIM for data. Both work simultaneously.

How much data do I need for a European trip?

5–10GB for 1–2 weeks with moderate use. 15–20GB for heavy use including video calls. Download offline maps on Wi-Fi to save data.

Are Switzerland and the UK included in European plans?

Not always — they're outside the EU and often excluded. Always verify the provider's country list before purchasing if your itinerary includes them.
